Notice for post authors

1. Who we are

Keyleads is a tool that helps businesses find people who are publicly asking for a product like theirs. For this data we are the controller:

2. What we collect

We only collect public posts that match a search term a customer tracks, on Reddit and Threads (with LinkedIn in beta and X coming soon). For each matching post we keep: the platform, the community it was posted in (such as the subreddit), your public handle, your public headline where the platform shows one (such as LinkedIn), the post URL, title, text and date, and the AI score and one-line reason described below. We do not collect private messages, private or deleted posts, your followers, or anything from your profile beyond the headline.

3. Why

Our legal basis is legitimate interests: businesses have a legitimate interest in finding people who have publicly asked for a product or recommendation, and people who post such questions publicly can reasonably expect vendors to see them. We limit what we keep and for how long, and we let you opt out at any time. We have written an assessment balancing these interests and keep it on file.

4. What we don't do

• We never post, reply or message you. Keyleads never posts on anyone's behalf; a customer who replies does so themselves, from their own account, on the platform.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
• We do not build profiles of you or track what you post over time.
• We do not look up your email address, phone number or other contact details.
• We do not send your handle to our AI provider.

5. Who sees it

Members of the customer workspaces whose tracked terms matched your post, through their Keyleads inbox and, if they turned them on, Telegram or browser alerts. Our service providers listed on the Subprocessors page process it for us. Customers must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forbids spam, building contact lists and profiling individuals.

6. How the AI score and reason are made

A large language model reads the post title and text together with the customer's product description and gives a buying-intent score from 0 to 100 and a one-line reason (for example, "Asking for a recommendation and comparing two tools"). The score only decides which posts a customer sees first; it has no legal or similar effect on you. It can be wrong.

7. How long we keep it

A post that no customer keeps as a lead is deleted after 7 days. A post that became a lead is kept for the customer's plan retention period, between 7 and 365 days, and then deleted. If you opt out, we delete it straight away.

8. Your rights and removal

You can object to this processing and ask for your posts to be removed. The quickest way is the removal form: enter your platform and handle and we delete everything we hold for that handle and stop indexing it. The opt-out record itself (platform, handle, and the email and reason if you give them) is kept so we can keep honouring it. You can also email hello@keyleads.app.

You also have the rights to access, correct, restrict and receive a copy of your data, and to complain to a data protection authority. Our Privacy Policy explains these rights and how we answer requests.
